Will the disconnect of the battery reset airbag deactivation progam on computer?

Hello

Sorry for the Noob question. I'm new to the forum and a new boxster owner. I want to make sure that if I were to disconnect the battery it will not reset the computer. The reason being is that I have the air bag deactivation kit installed and the dealer had to program the computer to account for this. I'm planning on doing a fix for the common Horn Problem but want to make sure that if I were to disconnect the battery the computer will still retain the air bag deactivation when I have a car seat installed. Thanks in advance for any response.

You will be fine.

No worries, all that stuff is stored in non-volatile memory.
