Rear View Mirror
The rear view mirror on my 2004 Boxster decided to pop off..!! Do you think I can get it back on..I have tried and tried. The mirror and the holder both came off, the mirror is now off the holder but I cant get the holder on the window..I think you must just put it on and twist..but hwo hard? Then getting the mirror on that..do you just push hard..?? Help..and thanks in advance

is the button still on the glass itself? If so, the stem as I recall is attached to it by putting on and then turning 90 degrees clockwise to lock into correct position (you will need pliers to do so and make sure you protect the finish w/ some towels, etc.).
Good luck :) |

Good luck :)[/Thanks so much. Yess the button is still on the glass. I was able to turn it about 75 degrees by hand but was worried about cranking it more. So I will use pliers and a cloth to do that. Any idea then on how to attach the mirror to that..just push real hard..?? Thanks again |

Glad it all worked out. Hope there's a good story as to how it got knocked off... next time though it might be easier to just re-detail your hood

Ah so to remove/unlock a mirror one just grabs on and rotates?
