does anyone have info on where i can get red clip for security sensor?
 
im trying to buy the little red clip that is used to fool the car from thinking of top if down for security. can t seem to find a link for it. use to be on suncoast but not there anymore.

trying to find it for my brother in laws 911 convert. 2002.

i let him try mine but for some reason it didnt activate his sensor.

I might be wrong, but I think the motion sensor activation for 996s is different than 986s. As I recall, the red clip's orig purpose for 986's was to prevent the clamshell from rising and causing damage while speedster humps were installed. Secondarily, as it turns out, it also turned on the motion sensor while the top was down. So people just re-purposed it to turn on the motion sensor regardless of humps or not.
