Depending on how severe it is, it might just be that you're really in-tune with your car. Every car runs better after it's had a minute to warm up and circulate oil after not running for a while (overnight). This is something I've noticed in EVERY car I've owned, from 3 miles to 300k miles, just with varying degrees of difference.
