cold start
 

hi everyone, i have only just found this forum so hope to get through some of the existing threads in the next few days.
my wife has a boxster 2.7 2001 on a "y",just recently she has had problems starting the car.
it seems as though the choke is not working (if they have a choke these days).
basically you could turn the key and the engine would start no probs,now she has to put her foot on the accelarator to get the engine running.
i have taken it to our usual garage and they have changed the coils as nearly all of them were cracked.
however she still has the problem.
any suggestions would be much appreciated.
