Stopped working
 
Hi all just got my new boxster back from paintshop and both luggage switches have stopped working.The paintshop said the battery went dead but i have replaced that now but both switches still dont work.Tryed fuse C3 all ok does anyone know if there maybe a relay or control box or matbe it may need arming as locked out? 1998-R.

it's a '98 you have mechanical levers for the trunk and frunk so fuse C3 doesn't apply. Try cycling the power locks a few times as that should release the plastic plate cover which engages to prevent them from opening when car is locked or driver door is closed. Is the remote release working for the rear trunk?

neither work i thought thay were electri as thay seem to lift like the newer ones. I will try you idea in the morning. When you say you carn't open them when the drivers door is shut or locked what controls this,does is sence the door switch.thanks
