Injector Cleaner

Maybe a stupid question, but I'd rather ask before than later...

I bought one of this injector cleaner product, and just wanted to make sure it was 'safe' to use on the porsche.

Not that I have any problem with it right now (except this little 'clicking' noise near the right air intake that the mechanic at the dealer said it's the injector), so I'm thinking it can't hurt to give it a try... or can it?

Thanks!

Which one did you buy? I used Lubro-Moly Jectron and my butt-dyno thinks it helped.

Don't remember the brand exactly, think it's something like Gumme....
Bought it because it was half price, but if there's better one for the porsche this one will end up in my other car then.

gumout ? They have been around for years. i would ask a dealer what/if they use. i dont think any parts in a can will quiet up the noise

Here's a thread that discusses the topic at length:

yes that is Gumout!
Don't think this will quiet the little noise I have, but cleaning a bit the injector shoudln't be bad anyway...
