20053.8s in 99 boxster

what would be needed to put an 2005 3.8 carrera s motor in a 99 boxster? would it be possible to run the extra wires for varioram and egas, or would the engine harness be enough to over come this, or would another harness be needed in the body? would I need a different DME, or just a reflash? it is not an x51, but it does have aluminum intakes, will it fit without lowering?
