brake fluid help

Hi Guys,

my service book says brake fluid should be change every two years. It was last replace about 3 years ago-10 000kms/6000miles ago with racing brake fluid.

Do I need to change it, regarding it is racing fluid and last a bit better than standard fluid. Secondly, can I use my durametrics to pluse the abs for bleeding?

thanks,
Rob.

I am under the impression true racing brake fluid needs to be changed MORE often than the normal stuff.

Just use either Ate Blue or 2000 (same product, different colors), and unless you have let air into the ABS system, it does not need to be cycled while bleeding. Be sure to due your clutch (with the pedal held to the floor) while you are at it.
