Link for Pagid site
Finally found a good decription of all the Pagid compounds for brake pads - took me while to find it.
http://www.braketechnology.com/racecharacteristics.html The Pagid rep suggested the Sports (blue) pad for "street & light track/auto-x". Local club folks suggested orange for track work. Rep syas the orange needs to be warm to work right, and can be noisy. I will probably try blue first - but open for comments on Pagid in general. All are advertised as rotor friendly, but I have no experience to confirm that. |
I've got a set of Blue pads in the garage waiting to go on the car. Still thinking about whether it should be before or after my next track event (wear out the existing stock or try out the new?). I needed a pad that could do track or street and the Yellows weren't it due to the "warm up" requirement.
