Tip gear select problems
 

I'm unable to select P;R;N;D or Manual on my '03 3.2 Tip S, there are no gear/mode selected indicator lights on instrument panel either.
Fuses seem to be ok
Selector linkage appears to be ok/functioning

Please help, any ideas

the same thing happened to my escape last month. one day it was fine. the next morning i went to shift and even though i could move the selector it didn't move through the gears.

$1000 - turned out the shift cable had snapped

mystery boxes with not a lot of problems and those posted get few responses because few know much about them. There is a factory manual. I'd suggest flatbeding the car to a dealer and starting there in hopes that it is something external to the gear box itself.
