Will these wheels fit?
 

hey guys,

found these wheels going pretty cheap on ebay,

wanted to know if these would fit my 97 986?

the specs are:

The offsets are 58 for the front and 47 for the rear
?
Wheels are 8.5 x18? and 10 x 18

Provided the center bore for a 993 is the same as 986 (71.6), the rears will fit fine. However, +58 is a very high offset for a wheel of that size to be used on a boxster. What is the size and offset of your current front wheels ? If you can provide me with that information, I can help you calculate the difference.

Porsche warns against running 18" tires on 1997 Boxsters because they lack the rear bracing of the later cars if that helps your decision! :eek:

not sure what the standard offsett is for the fronts,

can anyone help on this?

You might find some markings on the inside of the wheel that will indicate the offset. It often appears as a number followed by the symbol et.
