sprint booster install

I am trying to install a sprint booster in my 07 boxster, the manufacturers instructions are simple, just unplug the wiring harness from behind the accelerator peddle and place the booster in line. Simple!...But I can't for the life of me unplug the connector behind the peddle. Has anyone else ever unplugged this? If so what is the trick? I have pulled, wiggled, tugged, pried and it just won’t budge. Any help would be appreciated.

You are wrong. It does increase throttle response quite a bit and it's not about pushing the pedal to the floor.

shmelvin, I have a complete write up on Rennlist.com.

Go to the site, click on Boxster and Boxster S and then do a search for jwade or sprintbooster and it will show you my install with pictures.

987 shouldn't be a whole lot different than my 986.

got it

I figured it out…you have to remove the entire peddle assembly..Not difficult, 1 screw and pull up and out, then you push a small flat screwdriver up the back end and it slid right off.
The other instructions online showed installing under the dash, but this (once I figured it out) was a 2 minute install.

Yes, it is right under the dash. Glad you were able to get it installed.

Let me know your thoughts....I like mine.

I like snake oil

What’s wrong with Snake Oil? If nothing else it must be a lubricant..If I choose to piss my money away on goofy toys it’s my prerogative, Christ I spent more on dinner Friday night than I did for this thing and it was a bit of a challenge to install so I figure I got plenty of entertainment value. So let’s just add it to all the other useless things I have installed..Exhaust, Intake, DRL’s, sticker on the inside of the rear spoiler, MP3…it keeps me off the streets and out of the crack houses…thank you very much…
