I vote none. Straight pipes ftw.

Based on my direct experience with 13 different exhaust arrangements applied to a '98 2.5 engine I'll say that you have about a 90% chance that you'll LOSE power, get WORSE MPG and will have an annoying drone in the cockpit.

The stock system is amazingly effective on the 2.5, my best arrangement ended up being a Boxster S muffler coupled to 200 cell cats and 89.00 Chinese headers.. That arrangement spanked a 3,500.00 system in every way on my engine dyno, chassis dyno and in data logs gathered on the street back to back.

Buying sound can be expensive in more than one way.

Jake, any way you can post a link to these headers and 200 cell cats? I checked e-bay but there were a lot of options.

P.S. I am having your IMS bearing retrofit done on my 2000 Boxster S as we speak, thanks for making a great product! (lost my 1999 Carrera to IMS failure)
