Fuel pressure gauge?

Hi guys,

I beleive a few of you have installed fuel pressure gauges. Any tips on where you installed the sender unit?

Regards,
Sam

Anyone got any tips?

some sending units can screw on to the fuel line test port...in engine bay

Perfect, I'll take a look at this and see what the thread is.

Cheers,
Sam

I assume the fuel rail valve is the place to attach, just be sure to install a isolator by the firewall that sends a nonflammable liquid to the gage in the passenger compartment so no fuel gets inside in case of fire.

yeah - if there is a threaded test port on the fuel rail, I will either mount the transducer or an adaptor for the transducer directly to the fuel rail so I only have to run wires into the cabin.

Thanks,
Sam

Oh I was talking about a mechanical guage not electric. Mechanical is supposed to be much more accurate & reliable. Try autometer if you don't have one yet.

I prefer to use digital signals, they can be much more accurate if you have them setup correctly. Then you can use the signal to control a multitude of things (warning lights, nitrous safety switch, gauges, etc.)

Thanks though :)
Sam
