Help!!!

I own a 1999 boxster tiptronic and recently i noticed that the engine vibrates at low rpms in 3rd gear and that a bang noise comes out when i shift from 2nd to third are these events related? And what may be the cause?

have you replaced your motor mount?

No i haven't but my mechanic just told me that it is the motor mount that needs to be replaced....
So u think this is my problem?
