986 won't start normally and then doesn't turn off

Hi Guy's,

My first post and already an issue with my Boxter S from 99...

All dashboard lights, headlight, radio, Fan and other electrial system are ok, except alarm. When I turn the key to start the engine everything dies and no sound from the engine/starter. So it doesn't start normally.

When taking out the fuse for motormanagement a few times I can start the engine and then it runs fine.

Then it does NOT turn off anymore via the ignition key, unless I use the Clutch in a high gear with handbrake on. However all dashlight keep on burning until I disconnect the battery. When connecting the battery all dahslight are back on again.. Also the Alarm doens't jump in.

Yesterday I replaced the ignition switch completly as I already had some problems with that, that works fine now.

Any ideas,

Ronald
