Getting the Hardtop on...

How? I got a new hardtop and...

I've got the spin-locks in & tightened, and that evidently was the easy part for me.

Now...

Do the rear spindle thing with red handles go in first, then latch the top? Or is it the other way around? Should I have to remove part of my visor? I'm having a difficult time with this.

Please help. Thanks!

Has anyone else purchased from Brandywine Porsche on eBay? Do they not leave feedback?

That hardtop actually looks quite good from that angle.

Good stuff!

Feedback

I have bought from them before, they do leave feedback, but are a little slow to do so.

I just bought my boxster and it came with the hardtop. I think they look good. the only problems I have is it creeks and rattles a bit. I found that tightening the red rear handles with zip ties helps. I also wrapped the front "pegs" in the corners with rubber bands. Works well!!

mine came with the hardtop. insert the hardtop first into the catches by the visors/ windshield frame then slide the red handles into the catches by the rollbar. Lock the red handles, then lock the center release by the rearview mirror and enjoy the creaking that comes along with the hardtop :D

the hardtop on my my Miata use to creak.
Try some lubricant, during winter I used the door lock de-icing spray on the points where where metal is contacting metal. After driving me nuts on a daily basis the creaking went away immeidately.
Some liquid bicycle chain lubricant will also work well.
