2001 boxster PSM question

I bought this used about 2 weeks ago, how do i go about finding out if it has PSM installed? no original window sticker included in sale

There will be a button called psm on the main console if you have it. This was an option in '01. Other way to find it would be to check the option tag on the front hood.

Check for this on the sticker:

M476 - Porsche Stability Management (PSM)

where exactly is the PSM button located?

( I currently do not have a boxster and am interested in buying one with PSM, dealers don't seem to know how to tell...)

Switch with PSM next to the Climate control buttons, 2001 or newer

On my '01, the PSM button is up near the cup holders, below the vents, on the top left in the group of three buttons. It's blocked by the steering wheel while driving.

Was PSM available in 1999? My dash has a PSM OFF light on it.
