Open gate shift plate

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has seen an open gate shift plate and shifter for the boxster.

If so can you post an image. Thinking maybe if it looks good..

Thanks.

If you look at the design of the Boxster **************** mechanism, an italian style shift plate would not work. In the Porsche, the shifter pivots on a ball, the shifter does not change position on longitudinally or latidudinally, it pivots on a spherical axis.

So the pretty H pattern would not work unless it was located about half way up the shifter and that would look stupid and serve no purpose.

Landrovered is incorrect... the "****************" mechanism is located at the back of the motor, under the IMS flange cover...... :p :p :p
