Boxster Spyder

Just in case you haven't seen my Boxster Spyder race car on related boards. 2195 lbs currently. Headed towards 2000lbs. This should be a fun car!

Wow, that is stripped. I don't know about taking out the headlights. I would think the extra drag created would more than offset the slight weight decrease. I noticed you left the side markers in however? Do you have any pics of the interior?

Not any interior left to shoot. LOL! Actually looks pretty ugly as we just ripped everything out left wiring harness in. Looks like snakes in the cockpit.

And I have solution for headlight hole drag. CF headlight covers - see those little tabs. Headlight covers will be rivited on to those. If you have ever pulled headlight assembly you wouldnt want to leave them in a race car. They weigh a ton! Those side makers are gutted, wiegh nothing are for looks only. Here is a picture of the CF headlight cover.

Well Grant, I have to applaud you for being committed enough to go to those extremes in the quest for more performance. I like th headlight cover idea and that should help the car in the looks dept.

Which class will you run and what series? Looks GT from the amount of preparation.

Its a Hillclimb and AX car. Runs Super Production under 3.0 liter hillclimb class, F Prepared with SCCA and likely some GT class with PCA.
