Proper Wheel Offset 03 S

Sorry to put up yet another of the endless wheel offset threads - there are so many, in fact, that it is becoming difficult to research anymore. So, with that, my question is what are the offset ranges for front and rear wheels for an 03 S model? I am looking to get a set to put snow tires on (did a 180 this am on a cold road with what I thought were good all seasons). I have a line on 17" rims from an 02 non-S, but I don't have the offsets. The guy has another set too, from another Boxster. He will send me the info shortly, and I am trying to decide whether to pull the trigger.
Thanks!

It depends on your wheel width and tire choices, but I have fit et 48 to 57 in front, and et 40 to 53 rear on my 02 986S. I would certainly thingk any non S wheel would fit fine on any S car.

not necessarily, since the calipers are larger on the "S" wheels; there are clearance issues from what I understand.

Look in your owner's manual. Offsets for both 17 and 18" rims are listed near the back in mine.

Thanks Joe - I always neglect the obvious starting point
