Headlight Restoration Service

I recently had my hazy, scratched, pitted headlights re-finished by a company by the name of Headlight Restoration Service ( http://www.hrslights.com ). The guy's name is Richard Cheatwood. I was really impressed with both his workmanship and his business ethics and I'd like to recommend him to anyone who needs their headlight lenses refreshed and would rather spend $50 per light as opposed to the big bucks that you would pay for replacements.

If you're not comfortable with sending your lights out to be worked on then he will get a pair of used lights, refinish them, and send them to you. You then send him your lights to get re-imbursed for the core charge.

This gentleman really was a pleasure to deal with and his work was top-notch.

The other headlight issue is rotten seals, which of course are not sold separately from the headlight assemblies. I found a disassembler in Toronto, Nineapart, ( http://www.nineapart.com ) who will sell them for $60 each. A lot of money for a scrap of rubber, but what's your choice?

The resto continues....

Mark
