Help!!! Is boxster goosed!

Hi guys, had a bad week and today has just capped it off! I have a boxster 2.7 tip 2003, Went to help a mate with a flat battery, connected jump leads to my boxster & gave it plenty of revs then it suddenly spewed tons of white smoke out the tailpipe, thought it was on fire! I switched the car off and there is also oil coming out the tailpipe! Has anyone any ideas what I'v managed to achieve here! ;-/ Oh by the way, mates car started and is fine now......

Massive white smoke from exhaust pipe can be caused by burning coolant. I have never seen oil coming from a tail pipe before but it would indicate a massive failure of a head gasket, cracked block, cracked head, failed turbo or other catastrophic event.

That would be a safe assumption. It is going to cost.

Possibly just oil overfill or failed AOS. You are not dead yet. Pull the dip stick and look for signs of oil/coolant mix. If the oil is still clear and clean and your coolant is still clear and clean she has some life left in her. Good luck!

Hi Topless, thanks for the reply. She was only serviced (96k) 2000 miles ago and the oil was checked yesterday. Someone else on another site mentioned the air/oil seal also, i just hope this is all it is! Thanks again m8
