Will these wheels fit on a Boxster?

I am looking at a staggered set of wheels for my 2001 boxster.

18x10 50mm offset
18 x8 40mm offset

Will these fit on a boxster with proper tires?

Rears may be OK, but the fronts are off by 15mm the wrong direction...you should be around et55 on the fronts. By wrong direction, I mean spacers would only push them out further away from the struts; you need them closer.

50mm 18x10 will rub the struts. The ideal offset for 18X10 is 42mm. 48mm is the HIGHEST you can get away with.

You may get away with 45mm for the 18x8.5 however the ideal offset for 18x8.5 is 50mm. With 45mm there is a chance it will rub your fenders.

I can assure you my info is legit because I went through the exact same process when I got my wheels.

I have 18X10 rears with 48mm offsets and I use the OEM 5mm spacers which brings my offset to 43mm. My fronts are 18x8.5 with 55mm offsets no spacers however 5mm spacers would give my car a much better look I just never got around to installing them..
