just bought 97 boxter 86,000 blew motor timing chain broke did not hot rod it baby it only had it 45 days origanal owner older man garaged it and took very good care of it i have had bmw lexus i would not have thought that with such low miles would blow motor any advice and what else should i be ready for :ah:

The damage may be repairable. Have someone with some sense have a look at it.
Don't throw the car away, the 97s seem to be the best built of all Boxsters. |

Being a certified member of the "grammar police" I am loving this thread. At least the OP did not use the wordette "prolly", that one gets my goat every time. Spelling matters, grammar matters as both are directly related to Karma. |
