Inatalled Accu-Sump on race car.
 

After doing a few track events and looking at the oil pressure I decided that it was something that needed to be fixed. Had my machine guy make an adapter that screws in where the stock filter goes and allows for AN10 lines to be run to a remote filter and accu sump. Since install oil pressure has been steady at 60psi even in long high g corners.

Looks great, I am just researching these kits for my car. I assume you have installed some kind of remote filter with this? Some further pics would be appreciated

yes there is a remote filter mounted in the trunk. The total install you are looking at about 1300 or so. The damn hoses were over $300 to get made. But thats alot cheaper then a new motor from Porsche.

Thanks guys. That motor was a brand new crate motor from porsche. Made it almost 25 miles before blowing up!!! I guess when Hans installed the head he didnt make sure it fit right. Oops. They cover it under warranty and the new motor seems great.

Is this the oil system you were testing during the September DE?

We've been developing a similar system for about 28 months now.. Still not 100% happy with the total kit but have made many enhancements. We are now on Gen II of most of the components and still evaluating.

Chris' adaptor is a nice piece, I wanted to compare one to the arrangement we had but we use -12 hoses and Chris uses -10 so we could not get a direct comparison...

We have accusump set ups in both our Boxster test vehicles as well as my 911 track car.. In time complete kits with every part necessary as well as a step by step installation DVD will be available.

We are building my Boxster test vehicle into a SCCA ITR race car over the winter and more data about the effectiveness of the unit with sticky tires and high G forces will be available after we get a few events under our belts.

No ETA at the present. Until I gather more on-track data and work out the details of the best valving, plumbing and etc I do not feel confident selling an arrangement. The detailed changes we have made so far have made a difference in effectiveness and I want top optimize this kit as much as possible before it sells.
Otherwise I am just like all the other "pimps" out there.

Don't scare me like that, Hans is putting in a new motor for me as we speak but mine is a 200 (not a typo) mile 3.2 ebay special so I am flying without a warranty, although I do have an extended warranty, I doubt they will cover another engine.

Yes except we put proper hoses on it now and they don't blow off.. :) :)
