Will this work?

I have a 3.4 swap as most of you know. With the 3.4 in there running the aos back to the throttle body was interesting at least. It was possible with some tubing and clamps. It still doesnt fit that well. My question is, what if I plug the throttle body hole for the aos and run the aos tube to the intake pipe. Will that be ok? I dont see why not. My reasoning is the way that it fit with the 3.4 in there is just not good enough and was creating a vacuum leak. It just wouldnt seal good with the o ring and all that. I have already fabbed up the aeroquip fittings to re route it to the intake tube before the throttle body. Any thoughts?

It won't work as designed but may still do the job. Vacuum is created between the throttle body and intake manifold. If you run the AOS tube ahead of the throttle body you will get a lot less vacuum and may oil up the TB in short order. The engine will still process any blow by gasses though. I have re- routed or eliminated a lot of vacuum lines over the years but never moved one ahead of the throttle body or carb.

I thought about that too. I think I may just put it to a catch can and empty that when needed. Thanks.

I haven't done a 3.4 conversion in a while, but I'm pretty sure the 2.7/3.2 AOS to throttle body plenum tube works just fine.

I just don't have anymore of them laying around. I was trying to avoid the dealer. Were on a first name basis. Thanks. I am trying to see if anyone has one from some of the forums.
