AFR's?

Hi guys,

anyone share what AFR's they are getting on hard acceleration? Will have my wideband and logger in the car soon and would like dome comparisons. I have a 97 2.5, but happy to hear any results.

Sam

I've tuned for 12.3-12.5s cruise you will see 14.6 as for were in closed loop. I hope this helps you.

12.3 seems a bit rich for steady cruise in an NA car. Is your fuel economy suffering? I tune motorcycles and generally mid 13's are preferred. Throttle response is good and fuel economy isnt terrible at that range.

The stock target of 14.6-14.7 is good for economy of course but doesnt give the best throttle response. The surging you get at this lean of a ratio is pronounced on a bike, but its harder to feel in a car. I wonder if leaning it out a bit to 13.5-13.7 would help you get some mileage back without sacrificing drivability.

Manolo...

That came across wrong.. The car is tuned for 12.3-12.5 wot. Its at 14.6 cruise. 14.6 is a factory preset or there about. Thanks for the concern though. But I am with you on the numbers.

I was wondering how you got past the stock closed loop target!!!

I've been thinking of doing something to tune open loop just for ****************s a giggles. Maybe a piggyback device like youre using.
