Spoiler Dash Light 2004 Boxster

The dash light comes on everytime the spoiler is activated (75 mph). The light will stay on until I turn the engine off. This repeats everytime the spoiler is activated.

The porsche dealer says the spoiler drive needs replacement ($900) but the spoiler works fine. Any suggestions?

Tape or remove the bulb. $900 to extinguish a light, please.

if the spoiler extracts and retracts on its own and the light just stays on then He is a Liar. it's a sensor and nothing wrong with the drive motor. same thing happens with the top open light a lot of times. Typical Dealership response. can't stand these guys.
