2003 986 ecu tuning options

Looking at GIAC ecu flash but would like to know:

What options are there for a 2003 Boxster S?

Thanks

EVOMSit which I highly reccomend along side FVD Brombacher's.

We are a dealer for APR, GIAC, and REVO, and all are good options.

APR used to have a 986 ECU program but no longer lists it on their website. Bob, is the APR 986 program still available?

Thanks, I know there are REVO and a GIAC in richmond, VA.

I am more interested in EVOMSit. They are located in Tempe, AZ and I think the car must be tuned at there shop. Looks like I'm gonna take a nice long drive. :)

Also anyone using SoftTronic???? looks like a DIY type setup. Laptop USB to ODBII port. Wonder how much manipulation can be done to factory maps, if it only uses preset ECU flashes. I'm looking for something more specific not just a flash based on the year and make of the car. Need Help before I make a final decision.

Thanks everyone

I am using the REVO equivalent, Select Plus. If I understand the Softronic website it is like the REVO where you can select from different presets. If I were to do it over I would put the money I spent on tuning towards a supercharger or turbo for the car. Not much additional bang for the buck INHO.

Also, from what I read it depends on your modifications as to how much additional HP you get. If you just have an intake it would be less. I'm sitting at 276 HP for an 03. I'm almost satisfied, just want a bit more HP and TQ. the EVOM is $900 for 14 HP and 12 TQ. I don't think thats to bad for these stubborn Boxsters that just don't give it up so easy. Thanks for the help.
