turn signal replacement

Has anyone had to replace the turn signal mechanism? Does the cruise and wiper have to be replaced too?

I think they all come as one piece.

Ebay sells the 3 stalks a lot because of people upgrading to the 4 stalk versions to take advantage of the on board computer that's on every boxster.

You can pick up a 3 stalk cheap or pay about 125.00 on Ebay for a 4 stalk and have them turn on OBC at the dealership when it's replaced.

If you PM me, I can email you the directions on how to swap out the 3 or 4 stalk units in about an hour or so... not hard, just a lot of bolts and wires to unscrew and disconnect. It's a pictoral so that makes it far easier.

What is wrong with yours.

It is a switch assembly only sold as a unit. The 4 stalk switch assembly cost less than the 3 stalk for some strange reason. I assume you have 3 stalks, signals, wipers, and cruise control. If so and you need to replace your assembly then buy the 4 stalk unit. You can then retrofit the OBC or remove the 4th stalk if you do not want to do so.
