Boxster -97 does´nt start...

My Boxster refuse to start. Have already checked clutch switch, changed battery, jumped it. Everything goes on but the engine wont just crank. The starter relay does click. Ignition switch does seem to be fine. Might be the immobilizer? But I can still unlock the car with the key... Any suggestions? By the way, where is the starter relay located? And how do I check if the ignition switch really is in good shape?

Think I found the issue. First I noticed mice poo behind the drivers seat. I then removed the seat to clean and fit GT3 seats and discovered that there was lots of cords that where damaged by mice. Cords that was connected to the THEFT CONTROL UNIT. I´m pretty sure that this is the reason why the car wont start. Now I just have to connect them all together again...
