Replace dash clock globe?

Hi All,

has anyone ever had a dash clock globe blow on them? I only got my boxster a few weeks ago and it wasn't until this morning that I noticed it had a clock, but the globe has blown (meaning you can only see it if the sun hits it on the right angle!)

Is this globe easy to get too? Any hints/tips?

Regards,
Sam

Hmm, does "globe" in aussy = "bulb" in US?

I know "pissed" means diff things in aussy english vs. US english!!!

Yes, the bulb (globe) that illuminates the clock died on my car. You have to remove the instrument cluster to access the instrument lights but they are inexpensive and easy to replace. I replaced all of the instrument lights on my car theorizing that they all had more or less the same number of hours on them and it was just a matter of time before another bulb / globe went dark.

Hehe, yes, globe is bulbin Aussie and yes, pissed means different terms here compared to there as well :) Not to mention fanny, but we won't go there!
