HID 03' boxster? 2 sets (4hids) ?

so i was looking at my lights and it seem as i can put two sets of hids in the 03 boxster (non s) i dont believe i have hid oem kit but i came across good deal on bosch kits.

1.Has anyone put two kits ?
2.would Bosch damage my headlights plastic from heat? (supposedly hids run cooler than aftermarket PIAA lights? )?

S or non-S make no difference with respect to the lights. You either have Litronics (factory xenons) or you do not. The Litronics are identifiable via their ellipsoid projector beam low beams.

If you have Litronics, you have HID low, but standard halogen high. It is possible to install HID highs, but due to the design of the headlights, mounting the additional ballast is difficult.

If you do not have Litronics, I would recommend upgrading to them rather than installing an HID kit into a reflector based housing that was not designed for an HID light source.

In my opinion, there is really no benefit to HID highs in normal use.
