Clunk when taking off

Usually when the car is cold, but sometimes when warm it makes a clunk during every take off and shift through third. I just had a new clutch put in it from the Porsche Dealer. Wondering what it may be...

It could be the motor mount.

Do they touch that when putting in a clutch on the Boxster? I have never dealt with a mid engine before...

Maybe the new clutch is more grabby than the old one, and was enough to finish off the mount. The "mount" is actually more of a rubber isolator that wears out over time.

Is it hard to replace myself? I will have to look in to it. I have an appointment with Porsche on Tuesday, but If I can do it myself, what is the point?

Thank you, I will take a look.

Pedro's Garage AKA Techno lab has DIY instructions for replacing the front motor mount and Pedro also carries rebuilt mounts.
