997 C2 wheels on a 986 Porsche Boxster Base Model
 

I have a set of staggered OEM Porsche 18" 997 C2 wheels I'd like to fit on my 2000 Porsche Boxster (base model)

The stats on the OEM 997 C2 wheels are as follows:
Front Wheel Size: 18x7.5 225/40
Rear Wheel Size: 18x10 265/35

FRONT WHEELS OFFSET: ET50
REAR WHEELS OFFSET: ET65

As I understand it, I will need a set of 17MM spacer and longer studs for the rear wheels and they will bolt right on and clear all suspension components and not stick out too far that they rub or hit the cars fenders??

Am I correct in assuming the front wheels will not need spacers and will bolt right on without any additional fuss.

can I please get confirmation before I pull the trigger and make the buy?

forgot to clarify, on the rear rims, with a 17mm spacer on the ET65 that'll give me an adjusted ET of 48MM

is et48 enough to clear the suspension components on a 2000 porsche boxster base model?

If you wind up at ET48 on the rears with a 10" rim you should be just about perfect.

can you speak to the tire clearance re: the fender?
265/35 on a 10" rim with et 65 and 17mm spacers?

this may be a dumb question, but i assume you torque the studs to the same spec with or without spacers? 96 ft/lbs

That's what I use on my 996 18s on my 986.

On a 265/35 you'll be just fine.
