Replacing Dash

Last summer I bought a used full leather interior.

I have fitted the doorcards and the leather seats but now for the difficult bit... the dash.

I've seen a couple of photographs of Boxsters with the dash out and it looks pretty daunting. Has anyone had any experience?

The main worry is removal of the passenger's airbag and the steering wheel.

Thanks guys,

Pugs

Removing the steering wheel is really no big deal... but I am not sure it has to be removed to remove the dash... if so, that will be the least of your worries in my opinion.

There's quite a few electronic plugs in the HVAC area, radio, instruments, etc. You may just want to pay someone to do this for you.

Thanks Randall

I had a go at the weekend and yes you are right it is best to pay someone to do it.

I wrecked the passenger airbag in the process!!

But I have now booked in my car with a retrimmer who can do it in two weeks.

I will post some photos later.

Cheers

Pugs
