Axle seals on boxster s

Hello all, I have recently bought a 2004 Boxster S and while replacing torn cv boots noticed oil leaking from the axle seal. My question is How do you get at the c clips to remove the axles? Any help would be greatly appreciated .
Thanks
TONUP.

The only c-clip I'm aware of is the one that holds the inner cv joint to the axle...is that what you're talking about? If so, you need to pry off the metal end cap to remove the cv boot to get to the c-clip and use c-clip pliers to remove.

Also, not sure what you mean by leaking from the axle..are you talking about cv grease?

in any event, this link may help you:
