Alarm Help - Going Mental

the Alarm keeps going off on my boxster

I lock the doors with the fob and roughly 3-5mins the alarm goes off

sometimes when i lock the car with the fob i get the 2 horn beep after - i have checked all compartments are closed etc
The battery is a Varta and been checked and thats fine, theres no water under passenger seat.
its going off at random times in the night - my neighbours must be impressed.

i took it to a local garage and put on a diagnostics machine - it found 9 faults

Heres the results, please if anyone can help im pulling my hairout

1. No central Locking Possible. Central Locking Synchronization. [2F]
2. Left Door Secured but Not Locked. Test Point 13 [0D]
3. No Passenger Compartment Monitoring sensor Faulty [21]
4. No central Locking Possible. Central Locking Synchronization [2E]
5. Interruption of Alarm Output. Voltage Failure during Alarm Output [0B]
6. Alarm System / Central Locking System without Function. Voltage failure at Terminal 30 with Alarm System Active [0A]
7. Central Locking limit position locked not reached. Switch for Central Locking is Faulty [39]
8. Door (s) secured and Terminal 15 on. Check Coding Country Configuration [01]
9. No Central Locking Possible. Drivers Side Release Stuck [2C]

can anyone please help me
thanks

The UK alarm system is completely different than the US market cars.

IIRC, it contains a small backup dry cell battery to power the alarm should the main battery be disabled or drain, and when this goes, the system carries on as you describe.

Unfortunately I can't help with your 9 faults, but if you want to stop annoying the neighbours with your alarm, try clicking your fob twice in quick sucession when locking your car, you should hear a single "horn beep" this shows that the car is locked but the alarm is disabled, that should give you a bit of time to sort it out .

Chris.

Chris.

I have tried pressing the fob twice quickly to lock, it works and i get a single horn beep but 30 secs later the alarm is going off

Did you find the fault? i have just bought boxster and alarm keeps going off at random times. its worse when i have had the roof down. when i park up, put the roof up and lock the car the alarm almost always goes off (except when i took it to the garage). the battery has been checked and fine. if the alarm goes off and i press the key fob it turns it off. if i do nothing the alarm will continue to go off after a few minutes. if i press the fob again to unlock the car after a couple of mins the car will lock itself and the alarm will never go off. whats that all about? very very annoying and spoiling the fun of what is a beautiful car. :troll:

mine does the same weird things, but mine only does it when it is hot out.

The Red lock button is on and it beeps everytime I hit a bump while driving or at least every two minutes for no reason. It is really annoying, but as soon as it cools down outside, the system is completely normal.

Who knows?

 :troll: :ah:

The hot weather seems to make a difference. the last few days in the UK it has been cool and no problems however when the sun comes out and the cars is parked and getting hot it just goes off. what is goig on!!!!!! :chicken:
