need my box aligned in South Bay or L.A area? anyone??

need my 2000 boxster aligned in South Bay or L.A area? anyone??
i work in Torrance, live in Downtown L.A. Can anyone recommend a place where I can take my car in for an alignment other than the dealer? I took it to an independent place but they told me to take it to the dealer (for Porsches). Is this true?

You DO NOT need to take your Box to a dealer. However, YOU DO have to take it to a shop that is skilled and experienced in doing this type of alignment. Perhaps someone here can help you with that.

My alignment guy is excellent, but he is down here in Encinitas, which doesn't help you much.

Sorry.

There are three places I know of...

and all are highly recommended. I need to get the names of two of them from home and will post them late tonight, but the place I take my 2000S is The Speed Gallery in Studio City The Speed Gallery . They are very knowledgeable and will work with you to determine what alignment specs you would like for your driving style and needs. Ask for Sam and tell him Steve said hi.
