New squeaking brakes (porsche brand)
 

I am not sure what is causing the squeak. 4 days ago new pads, and new discs for front and rear were installed on my boxster. Actually it is a second set of new brakes installed on my car in span of a month. Both sets have been squeaking. The noise is driving me crazy. Has anyone experience something like this. Is there a remedy for this problem, anyone. Please advice. Looking for your help please. Thank you.

Squeaking fresh breaks are more of an annoyance than a danger. The pads are singing (vibrating) under pressure.

2 suggestions:

Add anti-resonance dampeners between the pad and caliper to absorb and cancel the vibration.

Scruff up the surface of the rotors with emery cloth to remove any gloss and allow the pads to bed in.

Anything I missed?

I'm not sure if this is the problem but it might be. Is it possible your calipers are seizing/sticking? which would cause the pads to overheat and cause the squeaking. Just another possibility?

I have the same problem with my new brake pads and rotors. I'm going to try the dampening pad between the brake pad and the pistons tip.

Most new rotors are covered either with grease, or a wax-like substance similar to cosmolene to keep them from corroding in storage. You must remove this with a solvent such as brake cleaner before putting them into service.

If not, you'll get a squeak.

Also, it's a good idea to both rough up the pads with an agressive paper, like #40 and file a 45° chamfer into the leading edge of the pads with a file.

Follow this, and you'll never have a squeak.
