Brake Recommendations?

Im about to change the brakes on my 1998 Porsche Boxster myself and I am looking around for good brakes. Are there any good recommendations for this? Brands? Thanks.

Looked like a fantastic deal, so I bought the set. Have not yet installed them, I hope to have time to do that this weekend.

What is your application? Commuting, spirited driving, track, DE, Auto X, to IHOP and back?

There are nearly as many brake threads as there are for tires. A search will yield hours of reading and a wealth of knowledge.

Yes it is but only for the right application. For instance, I bought a set of Mintex to save some money and then decided to do a DE. One weekend and they were toast. That's why I'm back on Pagid Blue. For my needs, spending more money up front is less expensive in the long run.

True. I made a bold assumption the OP would not be taking the car to the track.
I personally have no intention of tracking with this set-up - the package I bought will be for daily driving and autocross only.

Seriously, what's wrong with the stock brakes?

Nothing wrong with the stock brakes. Good quality and a good price. I did experience some fading on track. I just got my first set of Pagid Orange and they will be up this week-end. I am just curious to see if I get a little more bite and less/no fade at this point.
