Ok... tested the MAF today with Durametric.

Voltage with Key in is 0.9v-1.0v with 0 Air Flow
Voltage with Engine at Idle is 1.4v

I would have to think that the MAF is OK with those readings. At least that is what I've read.

The car has started to run rough at first ignition for the day. Throaty sounding pops from the driver side intake. Engine sounds like it might stall then it catches itself. After it drives for a little bit it is fine for the rest of the day. I took the padding and rear shelf off the engine compartment so I could hear the engine better while driving.

2 things I have noticed.

• There is a wind like sound coming from the engine. I can not locate it though. tried the carb cleaner trick with no success.

• There is also a whooshing sound if you tap on the accelerator just before the engine revs.

Any ideas?

Sorry if this has been covered before. I search this forum (and others) actively, but most of the threads I have read just end without a definitive solution being found.

Lots of good recommendations though.
