Unhappy Alarm Advice

Having problem with my alarm going off after an hour or so ( neighbor's not happy ) until i can get this looked at is there anyway i can lock the car ( boxster s 01 ) without using the alarm? it most probably be fixed by the time i get an answer but would be useful for the future and for anybody having the same problem.

When you lock your car with the button on the ignition key give it two clicks (in quick succession) this will lock the car but not set the alarm,this is shown by a small chirp from the cars alarm,as if the bonnet boot or armrest lid has been left open.
Hope this helps untill you get it sorted.

Cheers for that, it worked a great, the problem was the tilt sensor fitted a new one in a new position and everything seems OK now.

Yea... the ROW cars all have a true motion sensor unlike NA Mkt. cars which only have the IR sensor.
