autothority chip experience

I am wanting more power so, I'm going wit the NHP headers w/cats and NHP mid pipe delete to go with my Stebro Race exhaust. I have been looking at performance chips for a while and other than an engine swap seems to be the next best thing to gain more power.

I considered a few different ones including JET, GIAC, and then came across the Autothority website. Several years ago when I had a 951 I had them chip it. Amazing gains but, the car was turbo'd so, that's to be expected. I haven't ever chipped a non turbo car and wonder if I'd just be wasting my money for a minimal gain?

They claim 19hp and 22ftlbs. tq.

Which brings me to another question, EVO intake necessary? I can't imagine an open box will be of any benefit to the current cold air intake installed from the factory. If it's just sound I'd be gaining I'll save my $300.

Maybe there's a chip I overlooked, any suggestions also welcome.
