Alarm question

I'm having some alarm problems and would like to lock the car without activating the alarm. I read the manual and still need an answer.
The manual talks about an 'emergency' lock by turning the key 3 times but then says that all 'good' alarm points are activated.
Can I just pull a fuse or will that mess other things up?

The top micro-switch is the problem. I locked the car with the oddments tray unlatched (and got the short beep) thinking that would disable the alarm but it still went off one time. I don't want to leave the top unlatched overnight in the driveway.

Thanks for any help.
mike

And yes, I'm going to get a new switch.

The micro-switch could just be stuck - common. You could try working a stick or something similar in the switch opening to try and unstick it. This often works.
