Door Lock Button Light Always On
 

Lately the door lock button light is always on in my 2002 s. When disarming the alarm the car beeps twice as if the trunk or glove compartment is open. No amount of pushing it will turn it off, and if i hold the button down in the unlock position while driving the car will again beep and the interior lights will come on. I tried disconnecting the battery to reset it but that didn't work. The problem is intermittent but is lately happening more and more. Is there a way to reset the button? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
