I've heard / read of several items which Porsche needed to have on these cars in order to satisfy / pacify regulations having to do with noise, harshness, etc....

While I wouldn't mind having a better performing 986; what I really want to know is what to change / modify / or get rid of, that will make my car perform with all the efficiency it was designed to have, prior to the addition of any equipment designed to satisfy the Autocrats of the World.

For instance; I've read that the second set of cats on my '00 986's' are mainly to reduce noise..... All that kind of info and others; to restore the efficiency of the original design. Any performance gains would simply be the cherry on top.

Mine is generally the same as SuperGlides. I'd like to know the performance gains (over stock) vs cost. I believe this will help people decide what is best for their car and best for their wallet.

The list would include but not limited to;

1. Intakes (to include filters)
2. Exhaust Systems
3. Suspension
4. Tires (We could get this info from TireRack.com)
5. Forced Induction (Super/Turbo Charging, Nitrous)
6. Warranties
7. Something tough to judge, engine re-manufacturers/re-builders
