new pads and rotors scraping/
 
Just installed some drilled rotors nad new pads on MY99. there is a lot of scraping and rubbing from the new pads. the old pads were pretty worn, but not down to the sensors. Is this normal? how long will this scraping last and is there a certain way to "break" the new pads in? Thanks Jim

There shouldn't be too much scraping. Did you fully seat the pistons in the calipers before installing the new pads?

Don't know what brand your new pads are, but here is the proper bedding-in procedure recommended by Pagid - a Porsche OEM supplier:
